Collected under the banner 24 Hours of Hardcore Punk, the artists featured are all from the 1981-6 US punk explosion that Blush’s book takes as its subject, and include familiar names such as Hüsker Dü, Beastie Boys, Millions Of Dead Cops, Flipper and Bad Brains. Each track is listed with the name of its performer, its city of origin, and the release from which its taken.Just rewatched Fugazi's Instrument last night, after watching We Jam Econo a few weeks ago. This caught my eye at exactly the right time. Flipper. Haven't listened to some of this stuff in ages.
