Big Game Coming (Wish I Was Optimistic Edition)

Premier Matchup Of Guards As UConn Takes On Michigan State - Hartford Courant:
LAHAINA, Hawaii — — UConn's Kemba Walker wasn't the only point guard to have a spectacular game Monday at the Maui Invitational. Kalin Lucas scored a career-high 28 as No. 2 Michigan State avoided an upset by defeating Chaminade, 82-74.

Now they meet, two of the nation's premier guards. UConn and Michigan State play a semifinal tonight at 7.
I'm basically resigned to the fact Monkey State is going to annihilate the Kemba Walker Experience later today and that this defeat will mark us as a middle-of-the-pack-at-best team as we look forward to Big East play. I think this is going to be one of those nights where I miss having ESPN in the house for about 10 minutes, then when I see the Huskies on the wrong end of a lopsided score, am relieved that we went off digital cable.
