WASHINGTON -- Anita Hill is refusing to apologize for accusing then-Supreme Court justice nominee Clarence Thomas of sexually harassing her, in an issue that Thomas' wife has reopened 19 years after his confirmation hearings.For one thing, it's the right wing attack dogs who went after Anita Hill who should be apologizing to her. Anita Hill owes no apologies. Wasn't all this settled to everyone's satisfaction ages ago when it was made pretty clear Anita Hill was telling the truth and it was her attackers who were lying?
'I have no intention of apologizing because I testified truthfully about my experience and I stand by that testimony,' Hill, now a Brandeis University professor, said in a statement released Tuesday night.
Virginia Thomas (who by the way, lives in a fantasy world) has no business asking Ms. Hill to apologize. Virginia Thomas is a right wing attack dog, so I'm sure she has the appropriate contacts to get Ms. Hill the apologies she deserves; maybe she could get on that. We all know, since Mrs. Thomas well knows Ms. Hill has nothing for which to apologize, her "olive branch" voicemail is nothing more than a veiled threat. "Fake apologize or else! The fact that my husband is an incompetent scumbag is eating away at my self-image and somebody with no fault in this matter must be made to pay!"
