Is Aqua Buddha an Aqua Velva Man?

Rand Paul's debate interrupted by Aqua Buddha - Rand Paul | Kentucky Senate Republican, Ron Paul's Son - Salon.com:

In order to make sure that no one emerged from this debate with any dignity, Conway doubled down.

'Why did he freely join a group known for mocking, for making fun of people with faith?' Conway asked during the debate. 'When is it ever a good idea to tie up a woman and ask her to kneel before a false idol, your god, which you call Aqua Buddha?'

I'm no fan of that sort of questioning, but it is probably relevant in a state like Kentucky, when the man you're running against says he's a pro-life Christian.

It sounds like kind of a weird, jerk move on Conway's part here, trying to misrepresent some of Paul's college goofing around as actual religious practice to scare the rubes. I don't know all the background and it all looks too silly to try to parse through. Conway should be drinking Paul's milkshake because of the multitude of actual extreme views Paul holds, not resorting to misrepresentation, if that's indeed what happened here.
